This group meets on the 1ST WEDNESDAY of the month, 2-4 pm at the Kingsteignton Royal British Legion Club. The group looks at all aspects of geology, and in the summer we try to arrange some trips out to look at rocks in the field. Members are encouraged to bring in any rocks, minerals or fossils for identification (we will do our best, but no guarantees!) and discussion. Together, we plan the main topics for our monthly meetings in advance and anyone who would like to contribute with a short talk on the current topic is very welcome to do so, though there is absolutely no pressure on anyone for this. We also discuss anything with a geological theme that crops up in the news.
