We meet on the 2nd MONDAY of the month at St Paul’s Church Hall, Devon Square, Newton Abbot at 2 pm from November to March. During the better months we arrange visits to places of interest to gardeners. The aim of the group is to promote an interest and knowledge in all aspects of gardening through discussion, visits and demonstrations. We are open to all members, please apply for membership through the website. We visits gardens, including private NGS gardens, nurseries and places of horticultural interest – especially those that also provide tea and cake - where we aim to have a head gardener or owner to guide us. During the indoor months we invite talks from knowledgeable and experienced gardeners or other experts on subjects which are relevant to gardeners, discussions on gardening topics and a very popular tool sharpening session.
