This is a new group combining Guitars and Ukuleles. We will meet in the small room at St. Pauls Church, on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 2.00 to 4.00 pm, with a refreshment break in-between.
The Group is for anyone who has played an acoustic guitar or ukulele in the past, or who would like to learn to play them. So all standards are welcome, where we play and and sing and learn together. We play from songs with the song words and chords noted, from free song sheets. We will learn chords, picking, and sing songs together following this simple music notation, which makes it easy and great fun. We will play a range of songs, from folk type songs from the 60's and 70's, to more modern songs, depending on what the group likes.
