The aim of the group is to share knowledge and enjoy discussing a
wide range of issues.
We meet on the second Monday of the month 2-4pm in The Yellow Room at The Courtenay Centre, which is down the stairs. Meetings start at 2.00pm and we break at a mid-point for tea, biscuits and a chat. At the end of each meeting, we choose a topic for consideration the following month. No prior knowledge is required, just interest!
We are a friendly group and welcome everyone to join us. No judgements are made and all points of view are encouraged. Subjects the group have considered so far include:
- Truth
- Do we have free will?
- What makes a life well-lived?
- Should we change history?
The group will be run by email and members will be sent a reminder before each meeting, with the title of the topic.
